You could say Falls Road Running Store powers the economy, one pair of shoes at a time.

Every day, this small business sells running shoes to some of Baltimore’s best athletes (and a whole lot of amateurs). After each sale, money is reinvested back into the company, enabling Jim to keep the store open, pay employees, and purchase new inventory from suppliers to restock the shelves. Like thousands of other small retail businesses, Jim’s store creates jobs for everyone from truck drivers to farmers.
